eBay provides several programs that can help you take advantage of its
powerful marketing and advertising engine.
Sell for Others
You can leverage your experience and knowledge of eBay selling by offering to
sell items for others. Selling on consignment pays you for your services (which
can be anything you and the consignee agree upon) by collecting a fee or a
percentage of the selling price or both.

If you have an established auction business (licensed
auction house or those auctions using a licensed
auctioneer), you can partner with eBay and offer its
members the opportunity to place absentee bids and
even live bids during the conduct of your auction.
1. Visit www.ebayliveauctions.com and under Sellers
Login, click Sign Up As A Seller.
2. Contact eBay by e-mail, or complete and submit
an online form, as shown in Figure 10-10.
