??? The seller indicates the item has not yet been paid for.

DEALING WITH SPOOF E-MAIL
Spoof e-mail is e-mail claiming to be from eBay when
it is not. These are fraudulent e-mails often seeking
your User ID, password, credit card information, Social
Security number, or other private and sensitive personal
information.
DETECT SPOOF E-MAIL
A spoof e-mail may have these characteristics:
??? A legitimate look, with the appropriate logos and
official-sounding names
??? A claim that your account must be updated or
changed in some way or your personal information
reentered
??? A request that you enter your private information
(User ID and password, checking account or credit
card information, or Social Security number),
either within a response to the e-mail or to a Web
site for that purpose
??? Some type of threat that your account will no
longer be accessible or that your ability to use
eBay depends on your response
NOTE
If a seller refuses to sell the promised item to the buyer,
he or she risks a range of penalties, from cancelling a
listing to having an account suspended.
