(See ???Invoice
the Buyer??? later in this chapter.)
ENSURE THE BUYER KNOWS HOW TO PAY YOU
Include the payment types you
accept, how the buyer can most
easily accomplish them, and
where to send paper-based
instruments. For example, remind
the buyer to click the Pay Now
button on the winning confirmation he or she receives
from eBay (if you accept PayPal and have chosen
to display it), and, if you accept checks and money
orders, reiterate your billing address. (See Chapter 6 for
information on preparing payment instructions in the Sell
Your Item form.)
PROVIDE POSITIVE FEEDBACK
Be sure to give positive feedback when you??™re satisfied
payment is received. Remember: You get paid first and
the buyer gets the item last. Don??™t expect a glowing
feedback report from your buyer if you haven??™t done the
same for him or her. (See Chapter 4 for more information
on how to give feedback.)
PROVIDE SHIPPING DETAILS
Let the buyer know when the item is on its way. Provide
the shipping service used; tracking information, if
available; and estimated delivery time. (See ???Ship the
Item??? in this chapter.)
