Don??™t take any individual piece of potentially negative
data as reason to cancel a bid. There can be legitimate
reasons for just about anything, and one or two
disgruntled persons leaving negative feedback among
hundreds of transactions shouldn??™t necessarily raise a
red flag unless it??™s coupled with other warning signs.

CAUTION
eBay policy limits the circumstances under which you
can contact a bidder to those specifically involving
completion of a current or recent transaction. You cannot,
for example, maintain a list of e-mail addresses you??™ve
gotten from past auctions and send e-mails offering noneBay
items for sale. eBay uses terms like ???transactional
interference??? and ???spam??? to describe these actions, and
might suspend an offender.
