4. At the bottom of the Bid History page, click Cancel Bids.
5. On the next page, scroll down to the Canceling Bids
section, and click Canceling Bids Placed On Your Listing.
6. On the Canceling Bids page, shown in Figure 7-14, paste the item number in the Item
Number box. (Copying and pasting is faster and less prone to typing mistakes.) Type
the User ID of the bidder in the text box provided, and type your explanation for the
bid cancellation in the Reason For Cancellation text box. eBay??™s legitimate reasons
are when a bidder asks you to remove his or her bid, when you need to close a listing
early, or when you cannot verify the identity of the bidder (though you can type any
reason you want).
7. Click Cancel Bid when finished.
