??? To open the Bid History page, click the number of
bids link in the Bids column in the My eBay Items
I??™m Selling view.
There are several sleuthing techniques you can employ
to feel comfortable with the people you are about to do
business with.
1. In the Bidding History section, click a bidder??™s
User ID. On the member??™s My World page:
??? In the Feedback Score section, review the
recent feedback statistics and note any bid
retractions.
??? Note how long the bidder has been an eBay
member.
??? Review any negative feedback to see if there is
a trend.
??? See if a New ID icon or Changed ID icon
is displayed next to the bidder??™s User ID.
(The New ID icon signifies that the bidder has
been a registered eBay member for fewer than
30 days. Multiple changes of a User ID could
mean someone is trying to bury his or her past.)
