Cancel a Bid
Why would you want to take potential money out of your pocket? Typically,
you wouldn??™t, but there are a few instances where you might have to??”for
example, you might find a bidder??™s feedback record to be
questionable or his or her identity unverifiable. Also, a
bidder might ask you to retract his or her
bid. Furthermore, if you need to cancel
an auction, you will need to cancel all
outstanding bids, unless you??™re willing
to sell to the current high bidder
(see ???End a Listing Early??? later in
this chapter).
1. Click My eBay on the eBay header, and then, under All Selling, click Selling.
2. In the Items I??™m Selling view, click the number of bids link for the listing that contains
the bidder you want to cancel.
3. On the Bid History page, select and copy the item number by selecting it and pressing
CTRL+C, and note the bidder??™s User ID.
