Before you start the online process, gather the credit or debit card and checking
account numbers you want to associate with your seller??™s account. (If you don??™t
have or don??™t want to use these accounts with eBay, you can use ID Verify. See
Chapter 1 for more information on ID Verify.)
1. After completing your first listing, sign in with your eBay User ID and password.
2. On the Place Credit Or Debit Card On File page, shown in Figure 6-22, provide credit
or debit card and other information to ascertain your identity.
3. In the Select Your Payment Option area, click Automatically Charge Fees To Credit
Or Debit Card if you want to pay your selling fees on your selected card.
CAUTION
In order to obtain or maintain a seller??™s account, your
Feedback Profile must be made public so that other eBay
users can view it. If your Feedback Profile is private, you
will need to change this. Click Site Map on the eBay
header. In the Community section, under Feedback, click
Make Feedback Public Or Private. Select Make My
Profile Public, and click Submit.
