eBay??™s tools calculate the cost based on the shipping
parameters provided by United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel
Service (UPS) for standard packages and www.freightquote.com for freight items
over 150 pounds. If you would rather not use calculated costs, you can specify a
flat cost, no cost, or a cost to be determined after communicating with the buyer.
LET EBAY AND THE BUYER CALCULATE SHIPPING
eBay can calculate shipping for most packages using USPS and UPS services.
All you have to do is provide basic shipping information, and eBay will fill in
the Sell Your Item form for you, displaying the cost to the buyer at the top of
your listing based on their ZIP code and allowing the buyer to change the ZIP
code to see costs for other locales. You can either provide the information in the
fields on the form or let a wizard fill it in for you.
1. In the Shipping area, under Domestic Shipping, click the Shipping Options down
arrow, and click Calculated: Cost Varies By Buyer Location. Select the applicable
Package, Weight, and Services options. (If you don??™t see this option, see the
???Customizing the Options Using in the Selling Form??? QuickSteps.) Select either the
3 Domestic or 3 Domestic And 3 International Services options).
