Up for a PayPal Premier Account??? QuickSteps later in the chapter.
1. Click the PayPal check box (if you
see a blue check mark next to
PayPal, you have set a preference
to have PayPal offered on all your
listings).
2. Ensure that the e-mail address in
the Email Address For Receiving
Payment text box is the correct
address for your PayPal account (if you don??™t have an account, type the e-mail
address you will use, and create the account later in the listing process).
3. Click the Require Immediate Payment When Buyer Uses Buy It Now check box
if you only offer PayPal (any additional payment methods you have selected will be
cleared) and you are offering a Buy It Now price. This check box will only be available
if you have a Premier or Business PayPal account.
ACCEPT ADDITIONAL FORMS OF PAYMENT
The Sell Your Item form can display four other payment methods in addition
to PayPal, though by default, only two are shown in the form: Money Order/
Cashier??™s Check and Personal Check. To accept credit cards through a merchant
account (you can accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) or
to steer the buyer to your item description for payment instructions:
1. Click the Help icon next to Additional Payment Methods in the Sell Your Item form.
