M. on Sunday,
October 14, 2007. If you want to start a sale up to three weeks in advance (in 15-minute
increments), you create a scheduled listing. Click Schedule Start Time ($0.10 fee), click
the Date and Time down arrows, and choose the day and time you want the listing to
start (if you don??™t see this option, see the ???Customizing the Options Used in the Selling
Form??? QuickSteps earlier
in the chapter).
3. If you don??™t want the User IDs of buyers displayed in a listing, you can designate the
listing as private (if you don??™t see this option, see the ???Customizing the Options Used
in the Selling Form??? QuickSteps). Click the Allow Buyers To Remain Anonymous To
Other eBay Users check box.
Add Payment Information
You have several choices in how you inform successful bidders how to pay you
(see Chapter 5 for information on acceptable forms of payment you can offer).
The options you choose will appear in the Payment Details section in the listing
the bidder or buyer sees, as shown in Figure 6-15.
NOTE
There is a lot of debate over the optimal duration to sell
an item. Unless you have a specific reason to use the
one-day option (such as the time-sensitive expiration
date of an event ticket, or if you have a large inventory
of the same item that you just want to turn over quickly),
you??™re probably better off gaining more exposure for your
item with a longer duration.
