CAUTION
The trick to making drop-shipping work is finding a
reputable and reliable company with which to partner.
Doing a search on Google will produce pages of potential
drop-shipping sources, but as with most things on
the Internet, it??™s best to do some homework, such as
checking out what others have to say on eBay blogs and
groups. Typically, to work with legitimate wholesalers,
you will need to have bona fide business credentials
(see Chapter 10) and establish a relationship with the
company other than just providing them with your credit
card number. Be aware that there are plenty of other
sellers putting items for sale from the same lists you??™ll
be viewing. Also, be suspicious of recurring subscription
fees and other joining-type costs to access their
inventory. The clich?©, ???If it??™s easy, everyone will be doing
it??? certainly applies in this case.
