You will initially be assigned a Personal
Account. You can upgrade this to a Premier Account or a Business Account later
directly from your PayPal account.
1. On the Review Your Purchase page, you will see the details of the transaction, the
send-to address, the payment details, and the Select A Payment Method area. In this
last section, you will see the payment methods that the seller accepts. The Pay With
Credit Or Debit Card Through PayPal option should be selected. Click Continue.

Go down below My Account in the My eBay Views sidebar, and click PayPal Account.
Click the link to set up an account. The Sign Up For A PayPal Account page is displayed.
2. Under the New To PayPal area, click Sign Up.
TIP
The source of funds could come from a bank account, or
it could also come from a PayPal balance or credit card.
PayPal acts as a balancing mechanism: When you get
a refund, the excess dollars will be held in your PayPal
account to pay for future purchases.
NOTE
Premier and Business Accounts are useful for larger
sellers and sellers accepting recurring payments, such as
subscription services. They allow you to accept unlimited
credit card payments. These accounts have special
privileges, such as getting immediate access to PayPal
funds from ATMs or PayPal credit cards and making
payments to several people at once.
