On the catalog pages, find the lots you want to bid on, and click the name of the lots.
You may have to first sign in to eBay, accept terms and conditions of the auction,
agree to a transfer to third-party authorization, and go through
categories or subcategories to find the items.
3. When you find an item, click its name. The description
page is displayed, an example of which is shown in
Figure 4-12.
4. To place an absentee bid on the item, click Place
Absentee Bid.
5. In the Place Absentee Bid area, type your maximum amount in the text box.
It must be greater than the starting bid above it. Click Continue.
6. Follow the instructions as eBay leads you through the process of completing
the bid.
