5. On the Review And Commit To Buy page, verify the item purchase price and shipping
and handling amounts. If you are satisfied, click Commit To Buy, as shown in
Figure 4-7.

BUY IT NOW OR BEST OFFER
A Buy It Now or Best Offer allows you to either
immediately buy the item now or present a
best offer price. The offer must be accepted by
the seller within 48 hours or the bid will expire.
1. Click the item link to display the listing. A page similar to that shown in Figure 4-8 is
displayed.
NOTE
In order to purchase a Buy It Now item, you must have
feedback greater than 0, have a credit/debit card on file,
or be ID Verified.
NOTE
With a Buy It Now auction format, there is a beginning
Buy It Now amount, and you can buy the item for that
amount without going through an auction. There may be
a beginning bid amount set by the seller (an amount that
is less than the Buy It Now price); however, the option to
buy it for that fixed
amount goes away
when the first bid is
placed, unless the
bid is less than a reserve amount set by the
seller. The item is now sold at the highest bid
price, which can be less than or more than the original
Buy It Now price. (Note that eBay is reconsidering how
the BIN option goes away when a lesser bid is placed.
