Making a Purchase
This chapter leads you through the process of actually
bidding on an item in eBay, whether it is a fixed-price item,
a Buy It Now item, a straightforward auction item, or a liveauction
item. You will also see how to track bids, maintaining
awareness of them in My eBay until you are ready to bid. You
will see how to register for PayPal, or pay for your purchases
in a variety of ways. Your transaction is not complete, however,
until you receive your package, assess it, and give feedback
to the seller. This chapter focuses on those things as well.
Buy or Bid on a Purchase
You have found the item you want to buy, have researched its condition and
price, asked the seller questions, and satisfied yourself that you are now ready
