You may notice that a bidder has
two bids, one right after the other.
In this case, the bidder is probably
not bidding against himself or
herself. Rather, he or she increased
the maximum bid after entering an
initial bid. This causes two bids to
be entered in the auction rather
than one, even though they are
from the same person and there is
no higher bid amount. This is done
when a person enters a higher
bid but the ???highest bidder??? is not
changed, indicating that the current
high bidder has a higher maximum
proxy bid.
