Review a Seller??™s Feedback
One of the first things you will do is check out the seller??™s feedback rating. This
tells you how the seller has transacted business in the past and if buyers have
been satisfied with the seller??™s service and products.
1. When you find the item you want to bid on, click
the item??™s title or Gallery picture to see the View
Item page.
2. Click the Read Feedback Comments link in the
Meet The Seller area.
3. You??™ll see the listings of feedback. Click the tab
that is most important for you: All Feedback to see
all the feedback; Feedback as a Buyer to see
feedback only from buyers; Feedback as a Seller to see feedback of sellers who have
sold to the member; Feedback Left For Others to see how this member responds to
his buyers or sellers.

PURCHASING
One of the most obvious ways you can protect yourself
is to read carefully the description of the item being sold.
Do you understand what it is? (For example, is the item
the dining room set with the chairs, or just the chairs?
Pictures can deceive!) Is the description complete, or
is there important information missing? Are the pictures
clear, or are they a little blurry in the important areas?
What is the seller charging for handling and shipping?
Will insurance be available? Do you have PayPal
options? Are you restricted to only certain ways of paying
for it? Will the seller ship internationally if you don??™t live
in the seller??™s country? (An example of shipping and
payment details is shown in Figure 3-1.
