IDENTIFYING ICONS IN LISTINGS
eBay uses icons to identify certain characteristics of
listed items. Some of the most common icons you will
see in a listing are as follows:
??? The item has a fixed price, so you can buy it
directly from the seller without bidding
in an auction.
??? You can either pay a fixed price or
start a negotiation with the seller with
a best offer.
??? A picture is contained in the detailed listing.
??? The seller accepts PayPal.
??? The item would make a good gift for someone.
??? The item has been listed within the past
24 hours.
??? The item is featured in the eBay Gallery,
so you will see the photo in browsing and
search results.
??? The item is in the eBay Live Auctions.
NOTE
A gift item is really just a listing upgrade a seller has paid
extra for to get the Gift icon in their listing??”everything on
eBay would be good gift for someone!
