5. You will see some suggested Help topics. If the suggested topic does not help you,
click E-mail Us under Contact Customer Support.
6. An e-mail form is displayed with an e-mail topic as selected by you. If the topic is
different, click Select A New Subject.
7. When the topic is as accurate as you can get, type your question under Enter Your
Question/Concern, and click Send. Allow 24 to 48 hours to receive an answer.
LIVE ONLINE HELP
To get immediate online help while you are playing or working with eBay, use
the Live Help feature.
1. On the eBay home page, click the Live Help link on the eBay header.
Determine if any of the suggested Help topics will answer your question.
If not, continue with the following steps to contact an eBay agent.
2. In the Chat window, scroll down and type your e-mail address or eBay User ID.
3. Click the Subject down arrow, and select a subject that most closely mirrors your
question. Click Send. A Chat window will open, and you will see a two-box window.
4. An eBay agent will sign on, identifying herself or himself by name and asking for your
question. Simply type your question and click Send. The agent will then respond, and
then the two of you can communicate back and forth until you have reached some
resolution. A sample query is shown in Figure 1-18.
